Covestro supports Yamaguchi University's "Yamaguchi-san no Kaze no Ie" project

Model Houses using cutting-edge technology on display in Yokohama / Yamaguchi University is the first local national university selected as finalist / Covestro's solutions contributes to energy saving

Covestro Japan Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President: Kimiyasu Yonemaru) supports the Department of Architectural and Design Engineering, Yamaguchi University's "Yamaguchi-san no Kaze no Ie" project (Project Manager: Prof. Kyosuke Hiyama), which will be on display in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture from October 17, 2015. Yamaguchi University is the first local national university to be selected as the finalist of the competition.

ENEMANE HOUSE was established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) aiming at providing opportunities for open innovation to create new ideas for Net-Zero Energy House. Model houses built by the students using cutting-edge technology will be tested and exhibited.

Covestro is contributing to Yamaguchi University's project by providing innovative insulation materials in close cooperation with the network members of EcoCommercial Building Program.
